August 17th Vigil for Cindy Sheehan in Auckland, New Zealand
|
On August 17, 2005 Cindy Sheehan vigils were held across the globe.
Here in Auckland, New Zealand, Danny Garrett was pleased, as both a Vietnam combat veteran and an American citizen, to do his part to help Cindy Sheehan end the Iraq War now.

Auckland Indy Filmaker Matthew Donaldson attended tonight's vigil
and graciously took pictures, then shared them. This is a billboard

showing Sunday 28 August The Comedy Classic, at 321 Queen Street,
Auckland CBD.
Commemorating the 60th anniversaries of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki
bombings, New Zealand artist Matthew Donaldson uses a bright orange billboard
to highlight the hypocrisy of the United States government's position
on weapons of mass destruction.
